Christ is Risen – HX Stomp Preset

This Line 6 HX Stomp preset is all you need to play Christ is Risen (Matt Maher).

This comes with two presets, and IR (Impulse Response) ready preset and a preset with a stock cab. The IR ready preset has an IR block in which you can place an IR (IR not included). If you'd like the specific IR that was used, it is the OH 212 VC30 CB-ALN 57-07 from Ownhammer

The following is included:

• Amps: 2 Matchless Type Amps in parallel
• IR Empty Block (In the IR Ready Preset) or Cab (in the Stock Cab Preset)
• Stereo Delay: Eighth note delay is set at the correct BPM for this song (82 BPM)
• Stereo Reverb: The mix of the reverb is set to decrease slightly with increased gain of the snapshots in order to keep the tone clear

Snapshots were used to enable 3 gain stages:

1. Gain stage 1: This is the clean tone set at the verge of breakup.
2. Gain Stage 2: This increases the gain on the amplifiers to achieve a moderate overdrive
3. Gain Stage 3: This can be used for the bridge. This snapshot turns off the delay for the palm muting and decreases the reverb slightly to keep the tone clear while increasing gain.

If you don't like to use snapshots (though I'd recommend them), you can use the following switches:

1. Switch 1: Has the 2nd gain stage. With this switch off, the amps are at gain stage 1
2. Switch 2: Eighth note delay is mapped to this switch.
3. Switch 3: Left as the tap/tuner

Anything in the preset can be changed according to your taste or guitars. ** Please note: every guitar is different, so you may need to adjust the gain or volume to your liking. If you'd like to make the preset louder or quieter without changing the tone, you adjust the level on the Main L/R block at the end.

Directions for use: After downloading the presets, unzip the file you want to use (IR Ready or Stock Cab Preset) and then upload it into your HX stomp using the USB cable and HX Edit.
